Women's Ministry Bible Study

To Grow in the Knowledge of Him

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. - Psalm 119:105

Why study Colossians this summer?

From a standpoint of practicality, we chose Colossians because it's a short, sweet, and accessible book to study during the come-and-go summer season, but it still packs a deep theological punch. It emphasizes Christ's preeminence and sufficiency. In a season where we see the world around us grow and flourish, Colossians is a compelling reminder that we too experience true growth and flourishing only when we have Christ in his proper place as fully supreme and fully sufficient. Keeping Christ central gives us the confidence we need to step forward each day because our confidence is rooted in him and his work and not in our own selves and efforts. - Bethany Norseen
